Do not confuse tales and science. Let it to the bigbangers.

Hello
The Universe has no edge and no centre.
When we sometimes speak of the edge of the universe we sometimes speak of how far we can see. We can observe the parts and study the movements. Man in history has centred himself in the universe.
As for tales and science, bit by bit.
Some people come forth with ideas and theories who are unable to explain and extend those theories and that may need an explanation from someone who has the knowledge.
I would invite all ideas to the forum and possibly 99% would not be worth discussing. Thats the name of the game. Shoot a million ideas and maybe one will hit the target.

Harry,
You define your universe as having no edges or centers in an infinite world yes but not in a finite one. I picture our universe as finite that has edges, a shape, and a form yet further in an infinite world of these finite universes.

How you picture ideas will entrap you within those ideas. Like a chicken egg, the knowledge will be entraped by the shell of knowledge.
When you describe an object as being finite than you will need to define it.
eg. Super cluster of clusters of galaxies having billions of galaxies.
The Universe cannot be defined as a finite object. Its "all" and this "all" contains all the small and large objects.
Happy New Year
