I'd be careful following "Nostradamus" or any other forseer of the future.
I have friends that follow ND and it amazes me how they look for parallel, however, vauge and point and say "See that is what he meant".
I glanced at you link and it was most obvious that ND's prdictions have been updated 500 years!
Do you really think ND ever thought about "A Space Shuttle"? (1503-1566)
This stuff has clearly been written by modern day men with an agenda or view of the world and smells a bit from a religious spin.

Yes, it was clearly translated into modern language however, it doesn't change the fact that it was written/translated before the event occured. The above "translation" seems a little more then a co-incidence.
Just learning!

How can you be sure they did not change the text after the event?

Because I have a printout of the material from October 2001.
Also, at the bottom of the page it says:
"Last Update January 22 2003 @ 01:03 AM"
It is very compelling.

But then again one MUST rebember that predictions are only predictions (which useally last for decades if not centuries) before such simular events happen. Until they don't happen they lie around forever.
Now if ND had predicted that 500 years later there would be a space shuttle and that these events would occur I would have been impressed.

"d. Space shuttle accident releases microorganisms into atmosphere.
I p122 (cII-65)
Incompetent leaders who got their position by family prestige, in a
joint space venture between America and France, will be behind an
accident involving a space shuttle. The ship will have scientists on
board doing biological experiments to see the effect out of the reach
of gravity. An accident and malfunction will cause the ship to lose
orbit, break up and burn on reentry. Some of the microorganisms on
board survive the fall. They will have the potential of causing
plagues."

So 500 years ago Nostradamus used the EXACT phrases "space shuttle", "joint space venture", "biological experiments", "lose orbit", "break up on reentry". This is an amazing guy all right. I think this is the wishful thinking of a modern translator. Can someone show me Nostradamus' ORIGINAL untranslated text and make the case for this "prediction"?
