Thanks for sharing this great picture. How can anyone look at that and conclude that all is well with stanfard cosmology? The ring-like structures of galaxies indicate either that we really are at the center of the universe, or that redshift is not a reliable distance indicator and is quantized for some reason (whether it be the reason offered in Dark Matter... or some other reason). -|Tom|-

How can that be when we see a redshift (no blueshift) in all directions? -|Tom|-

Well sir for lack of a better description, like being flushed down the toilet (A Vortex or Super Black Hole).

At least a toilet has a direction (down) that can be distinguished from all other directions. But we are surrounded by galaxies all doing the same thing in all directions. How could any one of these directions be special or different in any way? -|Tom|-

All the other directions can be attributed to localized gravity. But, dang it you are right about what caused the "down". I have no answer as to why when a split of negative and positive energy created the spin, that the central vorticies of greatest mass collapsed or bubbled in any particular direction creating the "down". Humor me Doc, hypothetically speaking, if such a split did occur what would happen at the center. Wouldnt GR say that space time would bend in one direction or the other because of the the tightening of "lines of equal gravity" creating a cosmic low pressure system, similar to what we see on the evening weather report?
