To find an axis to the universe is so darn hard.
There is no axis.
The Big Bang has so many problems that its not worth even discussing.
The universe is infinite and therfore no axis no core.
The more we look into deep space the more we find.

Our universe is finite, a spherical shape in an infinite world filled with finite universes.

I think a definition of your universe is important.
Try not to close your doors until you have enough knowldegs to do so.

I believe it was Freidman who believed in an infinite universe. On a 90 degree outlook his was a straight line; infinite without any arc. The universe I describe has both a straight line and and arc so that a complete arc would be a sphere and a straight line would represent infinitiy.

The information that you have will create the image that you believe in. Historically this has been men's downfall.

In many cases scienist should keep out of their own way. Sometimes if not most of the times, we are are worst enemies.

So! rather than changing your thoughts keep observing images and reading more ideas until you can, maybe see a more practical view of the universe.

Your idea of a finite universe and sphere is not practical.
But! you are right the universe is curved, but! this curvature is created by the objects.
