I read the posted link about the comet impact event twice and don't see how your prediction differs from what is predicted by primary investagators. Is there difference and if so what is the difference?

What is a strong necleus made from? The primary investagator seems to think the impact will be into a solid mass that is about 6km in diameter with a crater being made into whatever the mass is made of. They are attempting to measure the stuff that is ejected from the crater to find out what the comet is made of.

Carbonaceous rock-OK now we are getting somewhere. The rocks on Earth that are carbon are coal and calcite-dolemite. Which of these is the comet made of-or both or none of them?
