Nefertiti's Family

Did anyone notice that in the new smoothed out image Rich made "The Piccard's" skull is unambiguous now. Previously it was hard to tell if he had a hat on or where the top of his skull began, now it's perfectly clear. Also the "rippling effect" of light curving down and leading to his head almost seems to be part of the picture, as if there is some kind of symbolism involved.

My guess is that it is a religious theme with "The Piccard" rather than the Girl as the center of focus, or there could be a shared significance, as if an "old god" were bestowing power on a young one, perhaps his daughter.

I realize that this is completely unscientific, but we are after all looking at art. It was made to be interesting. Subtleties and symbolism are part of art.

I have sometimes had the nagging suspicion that is all some sick hoax perpetrated by someone at NASA/JPL/MSSS. Aside from the fact that Tom told me this is highly unlikely because of the billions of dollars that would be put at risk by such an illegal action, I also think it is near impossible when I look at this art. No one in those eschelons could have created something like this, something this good. I invite anyone with art training to tell me if I'm wrong.

Aside from such a hoax, I for one have no doubt that this is art, made by intellegent beings. No doubt; but I can't prove it.

Yes...this is "ART"...

and although many researchers have accepted the Egyptian comparison - to the shape of the extended stylized headdress of the Nefertiti head, the Egypt culture may not be the only model for this motif.

Considering the dozens and dozens of Martian geoglyphs that The Cydonia Institute has documented – which all exhibit a common Mesoamerican iconography - the tall headdress of the so-called “Nefertiti” geoglyph could also be compared to a Mesoamerican motif:

Tom, look at all the detail in that last image I posted yesterday. What are the odds that we're creating an image this complicated out of thin air? Is it even remotely possible?

And jrich, do you see the girl, man, woman, dog? If not, well then there's nothing I can ask you. If so, what do you make of it? Do you think it's just a chance grouping of contrast that gives the appearance of 3 people's heads, and a dog?

I suppose anything is possible, but it seems highly unlikely in the extreme to me.

It's an apt comparison and suggestive. But like my allusions, acceptible evidence only on a message board--or in a Van Daniken book.

I'm sure when JP Levassuer first saw this image (left) he had the same reaction Neil did: this was art. There was no way this was a random collection of data points.

Me? I was a little slow. I wasn't so sure. I saw some "art realism" drawings of Neil's, but I wasn't so sure he was playing "Cricket" if you know what I mean. But, when you look at the image on the right, which is from the same image on the left, with Paint Shop's "one step noise removal" script run on it, you end up with almost the exact same image Neil produced in his art realism version. It boggles the mind.

Then you find there's a man, a women, and a dog. HA!
