As a writer, and in this case, a researcher, I realize that others may not always see what I see or think as I do, that is why the objective rules of the scientific method are so important, and corroboration and confirmation through other evidence of a different kind is so critical. I thank the viewers for their interest. A few more keys to post and they will be “on the record.”

Some clarifications:
1- Greg Orme may have been the first to discover M0203051, M0303483 “Barbara,” since a URL (M0303483) submitted to Tom by him contains that face and is labeled “Crownface,” but the well-known smaller “Crownface” is not in it, but is contained in the adjacent M0203051. He has not replied to my request for clarification, and until he does, it must remain as is.
2- M1402185 “Guardian” was contributed to the MRMB by Jim Miller who attributed it to “MUC.” Later, Rich DeRosa re-cropped it and gave it it’s name.
3- When Rich and I were earlier collaborating, there was some overlap. The ones I can remember are as follows: I suggested he look for “Nefertiti’s body” in E051429. He found the “Family” instead. He noticed a large “monkey” just below the Family; whereupon I probably decided on the “Gargoyle.” He asked me to look at an image swath with a blocked-out section, on the same parallel as “Scullface,” whereupon I discovered “Ugly Woman." M0200343 "Clown" at first looked to me like a smaller, more sinister character; I believe Rich noticed "the real Clown" first, but he did not clarify his opinion.

If the faces someday become recognized these clarifications may be notable. If not they will be academic.

At or around the time Parrotopia came up on the MRMB, starjim mentioned that his wife thought there was a baby on the north bank. After studying the raw data, I produced three images north of the city, and posted them on both starjim's website (under the pseudonym "LofPisa") and here on this site, and named it "The Guardian". So, techinally, I didn't "re-crop" anyone's image, I searched the surrounding area, as is frequently done, and used my own brand of processing to come up with the Guardian, an image that up to that point was unknown. As pareidolia goes, however, it's somewhat at the low end for detail.

Thanks for your comments. Here's what starjim (Jim Miller) actually said:
<blockquote id="quote"><font size="2" face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica" id="quote">quote:<hr height="1" noshade id="quote">Look across the river of the city area, the bank of that 'river' forms the profile of a baby.
This image was supplied by MUC for the Anomaly Hunters forum and I borrow it here the image is not map projected and therefore oriented differently but the profile is at the bottom of the image.[starjim, "A Geoglyph Re-imaged...Parrotopia," (MRMB topic) 18 Aug. 2006]
