i don't know enough about CMB to make a comment about it.

What about polarization within the Meta-Universe?<hr height=1 noshade id=quote></BLOCKQUOTE id=quote></font id=quote><font face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica" size=2 id=quote>

It is amazing to me how so many "predictions", such as polarization, are never publicized before the fact, and how only the successful ones but not the failed ones are publicized after the fact. We await correlation studies of microwave “hot spots” and known galaxy clusters, the latter also being capable of producing polarization in models where the microwave radiation has a more local origin. -|Tom|-

why is this question of polarization of CMB so important?

It is not important. But the BB is desparate for successes, and has touted this as a "successful prediction of BB". My comment was that we did not see this prediction until after the result was known. So it is more of a post-diction than a prediction. It does nothing to make BB more credible. -|Tom|-

desparate they must be,because between you, halton and steven and others you guys have managed to poke so many holes in their precious theory you would think by now that it should be an embarrassment to continue with it!

i once suggested to the discovery channel up here to put one of you guys on to discuss your ideas, their answer "we don't think that it is relevant at this time" and this their astronomy head!!i wrote back that it very relevant.no answer!! i cringe when they talk of cosmology, its all based on bb and worst of all they are knowingly misleading the public.its a shame really, but one day!!

What would be the point of replacing one theory with another when there is nothing gained by doing it? The BB is a model that even die hards know is only a model. There needs to be a new idea that is easy to prove before any progress in theory will be made.
