Jacques and mechanic, mark got waxed because of vulgar and insulting language not ideas. Opposing views are welcome and necessary to testing and verifying science. Please do not feel censured due to someone else's actions.
Also, I want to build this device once the idea has been sounded by everyone interested in doing so. I like the motto, "Work smart, not hard, and dont leave the keys locked in a running car."
Anyway, I am sorry that there were interruptions to this very useful thread. -MV

I think if you re-read MV's comment closely, you will see that he did not say or imply that you did.

LB

I did reread and saw the comma That reassure me. Thank you for your clarification.

Jacques, sorry for any miscommunication.
I am rather sloppy with punctuation (my wife teaches grammar, she reminds me of this often). Anyway, I am glad that I remembered my comma.
On the "idea"...
After reading the last few posts without participating I am convinced of two things.
1. The SOG will not be measured in this experiment due tolerance control problems beyond our control, the various ones I am speaking of have been deliberated and I will not expand on them now.
2. This experiment will not detect FTL communication unless the system, defined as the crystal setup, is contained in a vacuum at very low temperatures. Oxygen cannot be present at the low temp due to its paramagnetic properties that would undoubtedly interfere with the electrical expectations of the crystal. The vacuum is necessary so that as many MI's as possible are removed. What is left? The LCM, gravity, and hopefully the jitterbug (the planned for effect).
