Hi leo, I note in the article that water is the possible key to why left handedness is chosen. i would argue that it should e ice. Ice has a hexagonal structure, with a lot of almost bare protons on its surface. That's what makes it slippery. I think it's fairly certain that plants with their grids of magnesium atoms, force room temperature water molecules into an ice configuration. However that's jumping the gun a little.

The young sun had a much stronger e.m field than it does today. So strong in fact, that there would have been inductive heating going on in the debris field. if we ad to this certain high frequencies, or sub multiples, the surface protons of ice rotate. The whole water molecule chain rotates. The hexagonal structure breaks up but then snaps back into the same config. What we get is a diagonal movement of protons, so ice is a protonic semiconductor.

(Oh yeah, I asked about microwave antenna, and someone said that boat owners made their own. It seems they just use a tin can. A parabolic dish would be better but they're awkward on small boats. Trouble is, the actual aerial is very small, millimeters, remember that to look at cosmic microwaves, they had to clean out loads of pigeon crap. One tiny bit of bird poo is an aerial)

that last paragraph just reminded me of and ides. i thought it was possible to make cheap parabolic mirrors which were flat (called a squarial) . Basically cut a parabolic tracked c.d. That just mean using a fall away tone. For the detector at the focus we would need an oscillator, to combine the rgb channels into an image.

I wonder if we could do the same thing on the inside of a small bore pipe? Focus zpe for instance?

Hi SToat,

Thank you for your antenna ideas.
For the lefthandedness however I do not think in a watery solution but more in a DNA solution.
In my view, it is easy to see:
nl.wikipedia.org/wiki/DNA
That the lefthanded amino acids are the base for the righthanded DNA Helix.
