TOM is probably better to answer this paradox he discusses this paradox in his book.
how about this though, what would happen if you took time out of this paradox, then what would happen?

Your explanation is consistent with Lorentzian Relativity (LR), which has now replaced Special Relativity (SR) as the better description of nature.
Your explanation does not work for SR because SR requires that the situation is identical for the two twins, so that no experiment can possibly tell which of the two is moving and which is at rest. LR, by contrast, recognizes a local standard of rest, as does your explanation. -|Tom|-
P.S. Our article on the Twins Paradox in the 2002 Sept. 15 issue of the Meta Research Bulletin provides all the technical details for understanding the Twins Paradox.
