Hi
My mistake! I just analyzed the footage frame by frame and got a more correct time of 1.219 seconds which, given the shoddy detail of the footage is about right. I foolishly made an incorrect assessment of the footage with a stop watch and, although i tried to account for my reaction times I obviously didnt do too well []
Thanks anyway.[]

It is good to find bias in an experiment and retest to factor them in. This is just as much a part of the scientific method as getting something correct. Mark
