They didn't occur on any planet or moon. They are high voltage plasma strikes on metal foil.

Why do these plasma strike pictures have very similar characteristics as do the pictures claimed to be made by asteroids, comets or exploded fragments?

Here is one more link that offers well developed information along with picture comparisons of the Earths Grand Canyon and Mars Valles Marineris, including very plausable evidence for the lightened markings around the dark surface parimeter of Valles Marineris on Mars, which are the very same lightened markings that one would find in a plasma strike.

Anyone seeing these comparisons and can still say, with a straight face, "There is no comparison, the pictures dont even look alike", is intellectually dishonest, in my opinion.

Asteroids, comets and exploded fragments did not cause these marks we call craters.
