The two body problem implicitly assume an instantanous propagation of gravity. Doesn't it cause a problem using something that assume instatenous propagation of gravity to evaluate the propagation of gravity?
Personnaly, I don't find this very convincing...
I find the fact that there is no aberation with gravity a more convincing test. Anybody who takes a few minutes to read this explanation (no aberation of gravity) will be convinced. Does the scientific establishment is aware of that? Why are they spending those huge amount of money building graviton detectors, that will never find anything?
Anyway I imagine that working in the cosmology domain must be like a jungle.
Thank you again Tom for your time. I realy appreciate this message board where everybody can express their thought about the universe and having knowledge person that take their time to answer. It stimulate me to read more and learn!

Most of the big bucks spent on projects like this(there are many such things past and present) are in the catagory of pork. The history of pork spending would fill a whole shelf at a big library.

I don't know enough about LIGO to know whether this is possible but if it doesn't find any gravity waves could it possibly be used as an ultra-sensitive seismometer to increase our knowledge of the interior of the Earth?
