I agree, but the nature of this subjet matter is so contentious, nobody wants to be the first to second this "type" of opinion. In all reality, the subject of ET life is laced with such potential for ridicule. I have received quite a few replies but only outside of this forum via email. Bravery I'm afarid is on the back burner. It's a shame, where is the spirit of "origins lluminated"?

This image has been out there for over a dozen years.
It is still out there, still being looked at. Talked about.
What is it? Good question. Lots of theories (guesses).
***
There is only ONE THING it is <b>for sure</b>. It's another very good reason to GO THERE and look. Either in person, or by ... Rent-A-Rover! (TM)

<b>[Malcolm] "It's a shame, where is the spirit of 'Origins Illuminated'?"</b>
You newbies are frequently amusing. We're standing over here by the bar, waiting for you to show us some serious evidence. Something we haven't seen over and over.
I'm giving you a place to tell the world what you have found. And you are squandering the opportunity. Stop whining. Learn what you need to learn to show the world what you have found. It's a lot of work. (You've already done a lot, so that seems to not be a barrier for you. But it must have been the wrong kind of work.) You're obviously an intelligent guy. Figure it out.
<font size="3"><center><b>There are no maps of the UNKNOWN!</b></center></font id="size3">
You have to make it up as you go.
*** Did you hear the one about the constipated mathematician? He had to work it out with a pencil.
Explorers have a similar conundrum.
***
You have admitted that you are not a scientist. But that is not the only test of your competence. (It is a big one, but not the only one.)<font size="3"></font id="size3">
