I sent an email question to the webmaster at HiRise. Hopefully, he won't remember I was the nut who wanted them to take an image of "Nefertiti" and "Skullface" and will answer my question about this image strip.

For the geologists out there, it would be interesting to get an opinion as to the composition and/or nature of the "buttress" formations seen here?

Unless of course there is someone out there who specializes in the analysis of negative landscapes. I wouldn't hold my breath, though.

When I prove to you that it's not a negative, how will that change your thinking?

Rich,
This world is governed by an unbelievably huge institution that directs utterly everything that we do in our lives whether we know it or not. Part of this institution is the Human endeavor to go into space. This involves, one of the most astronomic efforts ever undertaken by mankind bar none and, buried within this endeavor is the reality of the extra terrestrial presence and specifically, how this matter has played a roll in the existence, past, present and future in everything that is and has ever been human.
If you or any other member here believes for one moment that I, a measly interior architect could find himself in a position to present undeniable evidence which would require a reevaluation of just about everything solely based on a couple of odd HiRISE images, then all I can say is; you need to have a re-think!
The evidence here will be packaged conveniently and dissolved appropriately 100%. This is how it always works my friend. So no worries, you WILL be proven right.
I will say this to you, I have spent the time with these images. They are vast and are a complicated labyrinthine of convoluted reality. I have really spent too much time at super close range perusing almost every nook and cranny and I know this; my eyes do NOT fail me, this is my forte, this IS what I do.
So to say then, there is life on Mars and it is life more fantastic than you could ever suppose. So much so, I am confident in saying, there is not a man alive that could invent its nature, even in the wildest depths of his imagination. It is real, it is there and there is not one thing you could say or do that could convince me otherwise.
But thanks for asking anyway!

It's called: RELIGION
I would never even attempt to sway someone from their religious belief system. It's not how I roll. Not to mention, it saves a lot of time.

Rich, please try to de-tone your facetious remarks, you're beginning to sound desperate. This is NOT religion thank you very much! Come on, you're bigger than that.
