G'day from the land of ozzz

It is just amazing how Big Bang people have such and influence and they honetly think religously that the BBT is correct.

Where has science gone wrong?

How did the scientists allow this to happen?

How can NASA and CERD think along those lines?

Hi Pluto, Everyone here has kicked this question around and it seems to me the BB model is accepted by the establishment because a better model does not exist. That gets to be a problem when the BB model is elevated to a position of absolute truth. If you look at it as just a model it can be useful but the current state of art assumes the BB is absolute truth for the most part. At this site very few believers in the BB hang around.

G'day Jim

They do not hang around because they do not get a big bang out of it.

I think I said a funny.

But! the BB model is not a better model, it cannot explain the observations.

Are they blinded by the "light".

Pluto, I never said BB is a better model and personally I don't think any model is good or bad or better-they all have merit and faults. What I think about all models is they are tools that can be and are used in any which way. It seems to me the BB has a geewiz quality that is useful to salesmen more than any other model and what sells is hot. The BB has worn well over the years don't you think?

The story as I understand it is that if one were to look at what happened AFTER inflation, then the so-called big bang theory is correct. BUT if one were to look at what happened before
then the entire story is bull****, if you forgive my terminology. First of all, the entire energy of the universe comes from nowhere and fills the entire universe in less than a second. This is the only way they can make it all work.

Well, recent observations seem to disprove most if not all those initial assumptions. Of course they can get rid of detractors too.

Personally I believe in plasma where the energy of the universe comes from inside a star and is radiated outward in what is normally called a black hole that appears very bright because of the reflected energy. These guys are nuts and since they came from the last decade I can understand why.

G'day from the land of ozzzz

I know that Redshift is disputed.

Can someone supply me with links that dispute the Redshift data.

I have gone back and started reading the discussions.

Well done.
