If you spin a round top with a small cube on it, the cube will fly away because is has a velocity and nothing to keep it stuck to the top. Unless you connected it with a rope to the center of the spinning top. This is to say that spinning earth( counter or clock depends how you look at it) is trying to get rid of us... Hopefully, there is a gravity force keeping us on the ground. Nobody knows what's the real cause of gravity. Tom Van Flandern, the owner of this site speculates gravity is the cause of a "graviton wind" pushing us towards the ground. I subscribe to the views of GRivists gravity being the result of space-time curvature. But it ain't earths rotation for sure.

Hello,
Lets do this experiment, Place a air filled baloon just below the roof fan and then switch on the fan (my roof fan has anticlockwise rotation) u will se that the air blew down through fan pushes the baloon downward but what happen when u rotate the fan in clockwise(oppsite) direction then u will see that it the fan attracts that baloon toward its own side, Why? It means that these clockwise and anticlock wise motion has something strange.
and the otherthing is about the example "If you spin a round top with a small cube on it, the cube will fly away because is has a velocity and nothing to keep it stuck to the top". Now here I need ur attention that I m considering "Earths crust(where we are standing now)" a sphere1 and considering sphere2 to the Earths sphere(where we see these moving clouds). Now come to the point that If u put the block on the sphere2(outside the Earth) then obviously the earths rotation threw it away and if u keep that
block inside then the earths rotation threw it to its centre.

Please go through this, how I asked you in this email.

The rise and fall of the balloon due to the fan most likely has to do with the structure of the fan blades: in one direction, the net result is to cause a net air current upwards, and in the other direction, just the opposite. If you turned the fan upside down, the effect would be reversed.

As for us not falling off a spinning Earth: gravity.

For curiousity sake... does the pressure felt from all directions at the planet core come from the mass of the material or from the weight of the material. Weight is generated from gravity pushing on a mass. In the core, if we assume that all gravity is shielded then we still feel the mass pushing down and focused at the central core. I agree with all that the pressure at the core would be extreme, however such extreme pressure argues against high temperatures and since gravitons have been absorbed and transfered their momentums at areas say in the mantle, then a hot mantle could surround a cold core...perhaps even a cold gaseous core even in our own planet. Relief of this pressure though through some extraplanetary shearing or impact might explain a mechanism for rapid high energy release and planetary explosion. In this suggestion, spheres are reservoirs of energy gained from space radiation and gravitation. Mass increases are observed (true for earth) and energy increases as well as in the case of Jupiter radiating more energy than it takes in. Am I on any track? MV

I am of the opinion that pressure at the center of the Earth is low, not extreme, not high. So, what does it mean when MV agrees with all that the opposite is true?

Jim, in rereading, I saw that you dissent to the suppposition that pressure is high at the core...my bad in including you and your camp in that "all".

In any case, I continue to forward the argument that high pressures must me the case... to support this I site experiments with nuclear fusion where great pressure is required to initiate the reaction. I will then extend this to the mechanism driving the fusion at the core of a star. Fusion occurs after a measurable amount of pressure occurs, masses of smaller bodies (like Jupiter) do not have sufficient core temperature to sustain fusion since they don't have enough matter (mass) to react. Mass comparisons of stars versus gas giants would show this threshold I imagine...
