You may not believe in faith, prayer or belief either, but they are words that dont simply disappear from humanity. The words are still here with us for a reason. They are to be used properly and faith, belief, prayer and purpose have their place when you use them to create your own purposefull universe, by faith, prayer and belief.

You confuse "Cause" and "Affect" here. We as thinking creature may choose to serve our own purposes and attempt to utilize the nature of the universe, perhaps one day even give it our desired direction.

But the universe is an inantimate object we find ourselves in. Any purpose in the universe is our purpose not that of inantimate objects or the mere chance of existing.

Claiming we are part of the universe and may have purpose is fine but to distort that into meaning the universe has purpose in of its own valition is wholly invalid.
