You said you want to be excited. Perhaps if you realize that it isn't just barn yard tinkers like me working on this stuff you might take it serious:

PATENT 6,317,310 November 2001

Apparatus and method for generating thrust using a two dimensional, ***asymmetrical*** capacitor module

(NOTE: *** *** added by me)

Abstract
A capacitor module system is provided for creating a thrust force. The system includes a capacitor module provided with a first conductive element having a cylindrical geometry. The first conductive element can be a hollow cylinder or a solid cylinder. The capacitor module also includes a second conductive element axially spaced from the first conductive element and of smaller axial extent. The second conductive element can be a flat disk, a dome, or a conductive tip at the end of a dielectric rod. A dielectric element is disposed between the first conductive element and the second conductive element. The system also includes a high voltage source having first and second terminals connected respectively to the first and second conductive elements. The high voltage source applies a high voltage to the conductive elements of sufficient value to create a thrust force on the module inducing movement thereof.

The above assignment is to NASA!

This work is a spin off from Townsend Brown's flying discs.

Now go to UniKEF/Messages/Inventions/AMDATA

This is where I have done my work in this area. AMDATA is an acronym for:

Angular Momentum Deformation Asymmetrical Tangential Acceleration

Please notice the common term ***asymmetrical*** in these devices.
This asymmetrical feature is what circumvents (doesn't defy) Newtons Law of Equal and Opposite Forces.

The fact is the French are currently having a world wide competetion to "Increase" the payload of Townsend Brown Lifters. See link:

I have only a small bias against uncredentialed or inappropriately credentialed inventors. Many of them are hopelessly naive, but there are so many that blind luck or isolated brilliance could enter the picture. In fact, given the liklyhood that several "mainstream" theories are at least partially wrong I figure that the shade tree crowd has a decent shot at doing something significant.

But I still require proof (or at least some solid evidence) that they can do what they claim.

And when it comes to reactionless thrusters, the Pendulum Test is my test of choice. Passing it will get my attention, at which point I start looking for anything that could result in a false positive. The neat thing about the Pendulum Test is that there aren't many ways to get a false positive. And most of those involve fraud.

One more thing. For any TT Brown type devices (lifters) I would add the requirement that the Pendulum Test (or better yet a Lifting Test, with or without payload) be performed in a vacuum. As a low cost alternative to this, I would consider the use of a smoke generator to demonstrate that no air currents are being generated while the device is operating.

LB

LB,

Your requirement for vacuum testing has already been passed by TT Brown in France and do you think NASA is interested in a Patent thatis a hoax?

PS: I agree as regards to inventors. Because of my work and having to raise capital etc, I coined the following:

"Inventors are typically seen as persons 3 foot out on a 2 foot ledge"

While not degreed, I do have (4) years college in mechanical, electrical and nuclear engineering; post grad electronics and years experience running research corps that had many notable clients including NASA.

This is good news. In this case (a TT Brown Lifter) I presume you are talking about an actual Lift Test demonstration, rather than the less spectacular Pendulum Test. But either will do, for me anyway. And I presume the device in question always works (super simple design, no moving parts)?

Can you show me where I can see the test description and results? I didn't see a mention of it on any of the TT Brown related Websites I've been to, but I was skimming and could have missed something.

LB

LB,

Yes indeed these are actual lifts with cargo. Very repeatable. See the above links 6 Feb 1:16:59

Food for thought that is my view which is supported by nothing more than a huntch:

That is that magnetisism, gravity and TTB's devices may all be simular inertial drives induced by different fields.

In TTB's devices the high voltage stress placed on the device may be causing electrons to undergo extreme orbital distortion to a point that tunneling or orbit jumping may occur. In which case you have an atom where the orbiting mass of the electron and its centrifugal force may be missing over part of the orbit.

In peremanent magnets it is possible that EM fields combined with a highly tuned or resonate crystal array causes the material to be come sensative to EM coupling with external material and the electron toggle into inertial drive configurations. That is the material is not magnetic (but transmits EM out around its immediate enviornment) and when it couple with a receptive material those material become self-propelled masses.

Gravity could be electrons tunneling or jumping orbit due to eleastic collision which create inertial drive forces and the minor heat of gravity may be absorbtion of such eneregy by the nucleua which is vastly larger and can't respond as an electron would to a billiard type collision.
