Gentlemen, I've had a wondrous time over the past few days following this thread....truly remarkable thinking here!
I would like to add a few words based on my "kiss" methodology.
Time, in its essence, cannot exist without conscientiousness "observing" its passing. Without consciousness, there is no time. Therefor; time is conscientious and consciousness is time....simple.

Time is merely a convention (a word to describe it) created by man to have something to call the passing of the days (sun comes up and goes down), "moons", and seasons (sun changes position in the skies), and as man became more knowledgeable, the rotation of the galaxies, expansion of the universe and all sorts of things.
Nothing changes if man isn't there to observe it.

pareidoliac- a recording device is an ear. All that exists in the universe is what one perceives in the here and now. Hard to believe from Newton's viewpoint but it is what first hand experience shows at it's most simple way of looking at things.

Or, 13.75 billion years ago, conscientiousness was born and since then, the stuff is everywhere, we've been cleaver enough to name it "Life".

Time is a measure of change - if nothing changes (at all scales), time stops. So at absolute zero temperature (a measure of the rate of vibration) time stops too.
Real is if two or more independent observers agree on a set of observations, then that which was observed is defined as physically "real".
