True, if I was to do that type of scientific analysis, it would be possible to relate the two extremes to each other. I'm sure that would be an interesting study, but that's not really my objective. In this instance, I just wanted to show, that there exists a state, in which emission angle is not that important, even a much bigger difference in emission angle. I'm trying to be as consistent as I can, and I'm not trying to be mysterious.

Didn't you ever watch Perry Mason? You (as the DA) say, "I submit in evidence this here picture of Neil stealing a Baby Ruth, candy bar, your honor." Then you have to show your "chain of evidence" from forensics, or the photo lab, that this is indeed a picture of what you claim it to be, and not trick photography. You can't do that, so the Judge dismisses all charges. And I'm a free man.

But then you say, "But your honor, the famous photographer Christoff took that picture and he never lies." The judge slams down the gavel. "Case dissmissed."

You're really putting on a great show Richie; this is very funny. By the way, was the picture of Vladimer supossed to be pareidolia or the smudge to the left of him?

Again, you continue to make my points for me, as anyone who read the link I posted would know. Mark Phillips has the original digital unaltered (which could easily be proved) image with date stamp.

All you accomplished was to prove to the board that you didn't read it. I'm betting you didn't even click on the link. You just talked.

Hey everyone. Its Mark the Moderator asking for the relevance of this. Everyone seems to be getting angry about some pictures from Mars. Let's keep it in perspective. Please don't get angry if someone disagrees with your photoshop technique. There has been a lot of great material and I have had to turn away several interested folks because I get embarrased at the squibbling. If you want to take pot shots at each other over go to USENET where they welcome such things. The facts are these:
1. There are many compelling images from Mars.
2. You (plural) have spent too much time exploring these images to lose your credibility with foolishness.
3. There are too many people who need convincing about these images. Failure to unite makes us all look like idiots.

I will lock threads and do ugly things if the ad hominem things start up again.
