<< Once again, "Beyond who's ability?" I certainly see no problem with understanding the process. You clearly are speaking for yourself and are applying (imposing) your belief on everyone else. >>

Evidently beyond yours.

<< Now I have a question. I don't even see the signifigance of your concern about such events. Can you explain why this issue is important to you and how you have arrived at what, at least for me, is an erroneous conclusion without any basis what-so-ever? >>

You cannot make a value judgment by saying that my conclusions are "erroneous" unless you have demonstrated superior value judgments in discerning the correct answer to the, still, unanswered questions I posed.

And whats with the colored answers that increase from yellow to orange and probably the next level is red signifying that you are mad. Are you trying to be intimidating?

Meta, I see your point about no two like objects (Charge) colliding. But, I think you are not considering that -1+ -1 = -2. You do not see it as possible that two like charged objects could/would merge somehow to form a greater mass? How would such a merger ever occur if it were not through collision. Would this be an argument for a steady state Universe? What does "No Two Suns Have Ever Collided" imply for cosmology?

Meta,

Johnny,

I believe two exactly similar "objects" never collide. They will spiral about each other until they are torn apart and become light but they never actually collide. Is this an argument for Steady State? The so called Big Bang needs the Steady State Theory as two parts making one Theory but as you may know, there wasnt a big bang.
So I dispensed with the BB/SteadyState and created the 4th dimensional "object" upon which a finite universe could spiral its light infinately, thus solving the infinite/finite universe question and problems with the BB. This shape of universe must be a 4 dimensional torus so the Big Bang becomes the Big Spin thru the center of the torus lighthole.

I believe that two like charged "objects" (Tom calls them Elysions, I call them Anu/Aether) are similar but they never merge because at the smallest unit of space there are your two charged units and more, all occupying their very similar but interdependent places in space. Anu/Aether is deep space, Elysions are near mass. Universe seems to be logarithmic as to scaling up or down so everything that exists are composites of these smallest units. Since the very first smallest unit(Anu)is totally self generating and self contained, it simply multiplies by dividing, to create all there is, after its own logos or pattern. And none of them have so far merged because they are close packed and one spins against the neighboring units, keeping each one intact.

Two clockwise spins is repulsive.
Make two similar circles with arrows and see how the arrows move past each other. If you make the arrows spin exactly opposite to each other you will see they move past each other in the same direction and we call this attraction. Thats all there is to charge.

Repulsion happens with
+ and + (similar spin/polarity)
or
- and - (similar spin/polarity)
sun and sun (similar spin/polarity)
planet and planet (similar spin/polarity)
atom and atom (similar spin/polarity)
proton and proton (similar spin/polarity)
electron and electron (similar spin/polarity)

but it is possible that if 2 suns are going fast enough towards eachother, then that will be irrelivant. Take 2 magnets, with the same polarity, and bring them slowly together. No, they won't collide because of the likes repelling. BUT take those same magnets and bring them together real fast, and they will still hit eachother.

The two magnets will appear to hit each other. Atomically, no two like bodies ever really touch. The Van Der Wall forces are simply too great.
