In my opinion, we must acknowledge the psychological phenomenon of pareidolia and concentrate your efforts on proving that certain well-defined artifacts are indeed artificial"
It is here where we part our ways.. Since the early 60's Mars has been probed and photographed..
In my opinion we must acknowledge the reality of 45 years without progress ! And the constant under achieving images , not just recently but since space exploration existed in the early 60's.
If you spent any time looking at Spirit and Opportunity images you know that images on Mars and clarity seem to not be able to exist together.. These clues can't be summarily dismissed and or skipped and still expect to achieve any understanding of Mars.. All clues lead to the truth ..
Multiple scales would be inaccurate "all scales of mars would be more accurate"

Trinket- Welcome to the world transcending absolute belief in words as having absolute meaning- starting with the word "objective." The word "objective," only makes sense in the pre Einstein/pre Quantum world of Newtonian mechanics. In this modern era we must all readily admit that the concept of "two" does not apply on the quantum level because on this level there is no duplication of anything.

Just wondering if anyone else has seen this weird one...
marsoweb.nas.nasa.gov/HiRISE/hirise_imag...400/PSP_001440_1255/
If you follow the end of the "troughs", they end in a very peculiar fashion.
Use the zoom on this spot...
and you'll see...
And before you say the checkerboard dunes are imaging artifacts, look carefully at the top of the dune field under full zoom.
One more...

Upon close examination of the ridge line separating the slip face from dune field above, you come to realize that in some places it's apparent the dune pattern continues right over the edge into the slip face....
Similar to this, on TOP of the dune field...
This points to some kind of crystalline mineral formation, not windblown dunes.
BTW, when I showed this to a PhD in Materials Science (from SUNY, Stony Brook) at work, he started talking about glass and mineral structures.
Apparently, this (the intersecting ridges and checkerboard pattern) is what glass would look like if you gave it too much time to cool, instead of quenching it to prevent the formation of nucleation sites which spread outward.
