I think this is a nice link to explain the geometry and dynamics of the big split. With the vertex being the center of gravity, would there not be radial acceleration down the spiral?

Life is too short, and we must each decide which paths to travel. Speaking only for myself, my present interests are limited to what is at least possible in physics, regardless of its mathematical status. That limits my interests to things that conform to the principles of physics. [See metaresearch.org/cosmology/PhysicsHasItsPrinciples.asp ] But there is a whole universe of those, so I'm not lacking in things to be interested in! -|Tom|-

Tom,
So which principle does the Big Split violate? I think I have my bases covered on this one, but I am not so sure now....please elaborate. I think I have miscommunicated here, there is nothing in the Big Split that contradicts these principles, including the limits to scale dimensions. I may have personal convictions and prejudices, but with the model itself, I have been careful to avoid comingling logic and emotion.

Tom,
That is fine, I know you must be a busy man. I actually already have a couple of people putting me through the grinder, and things are looking good (sometimes). I have a manuscript complete just doing some fine tuning, wish me luck and the best of luck to you.
Auf Wiedersehen....

I ran across this abstract and was wondering if the size and geometry of Dr. Steiner's work are confirmed, would this interpretation of red shift be as valid as the current mainstream interpretation.

I'd say just about exactly as valid ...
