Hmmm.
Tommy is loquatious.
Singularities (other than mathematical) are ficticious.

We are tempted to introduce astonishing concepts, liking marvelous. Observing what appears for somebody big quasars, and knowing the existence of astonishing mathematical results, the math concept was identified with the observation. But there is no serious proof, no sufficient physical study of the consequences of the mathematical hypothesis.
Big bang, black holes are loquacities.<hr height="1" noshade id="quote"></blockquote id="quote"></font id="quote">
Thanks Larry, for the definition of talkative. As for me, I hope you don't mind. It's how I learn.
I'm open to learning mathematics, but if I haven't learned it by now, there isn't much hope. The more and more I learn about it, the more I wonder how it works? And now I am wondering if it works at all. No, I take that back, I wonder how are we supposed to know what works. Apparently, there are different kinds of mathematics, and there are different kinds of mathematical approaches. And then there is the matter of what matters and what doesn't matter, and after all that I wonder if they don't just make it all up.
For example, the mathematics behind the Big Bang. Can it be that it is based on gravity only? That only gravity matters? I don't know, but that's all I hear about from the standard theory. So what's the matter with gravity? And what is gravity? And, for that matter, does a single isolated atom have gravity? I'm serious, there are four forces of Nature, the electromagnetic, the Strong, the Weak and Gravity. But look closely at those four, three of them are inside the atom, and the fourth, gravity, isn't it always taken outside the atom? That tells me that gravity is a different kind of force. In other words, a unification of the four forces of nature will require two atoms at least. Good thing I can count to two, but the rest someone else will have to take care of...
So, it seems to me that the standard cosmological theory does not include, in a way that matters, the electromagnetic force. Sure, astrophysicists who study the Sun think in terms of plasma currents and magnetic lines and electric fields, but the standard Big Bang theory? I don't think so,
I just got a bright idea, what if the mathematics of the Big Bang were applied to our Sun? What would it look like? And what will they do with all the plasma? Assume that our solar system is the Universe, how well would the Big Bang mathematics describe that? Can they walk their talk?
loquacities...Big Bang...bag of hot air.

why not put your questions that you have to those that are big bang(and who care, quite frankly) experts.
there are other sites, forums which are big bang oriented.
but try to some extent, make your questions and/or retorts a little less extensive. try to summerize. it would be appreciated i'm sure.
hubble,chandra sites for example.

Well I did just that. I am also on the Stardrive list, and the moderator of that list knows it all, he is the king of the Big Bang loquati. First I was called naive, misinformed, have stupid and crank-pot ideas, and maybe six other names that I can't recall now. And when I came back with the list of references I posted here earlier, they simply deleted all my letters as if I do not exist. (He went on a trip, set his list to auto, and while he was gone I got three letters on his site. When he came back he deleted all of me...now I know how that feels...)
America used to be a free country, and free speech was something we were proud of. I once was proud to be an American, I served my country and tried to live the American dream. But it didn't work out so I started over again and learned for myself what is really happening. What I have found out, at once sickens me and sometimes I feel so sorry for what we have done to the world and our own that I want to cry. I also found out that we are one Whole, and that there is a system of the Universe, that's how the mathematics can work, and that knowledge of the future will be simple but much broader. I can see what Kuhn talks about, how science is not science, but a dogma. A religion. "Gotta have faith guys!" It's like that all over the place.
We are the stupid ones. We say we are for the people, but we worship the dow Jones. They tell us what we want, then we pay them to wear their logo. Duhhh...We say that evolution just happens, the Russians call it symbioticism. Oh, the Russians, I know, always say they invented it first! HA Ha Ha. That's funny. Turns out they did...We say there is no general system, the Chinese call it the Yin/Yang. Americans refuse to see the systemness, the Chinese always had the idea. We want the whole world to be like us, the rest of the world just wants to be who they really are.
To summarize North, the world is like a body, and money is like its sustaing blood. When one organ soaks up all the blood, others feel the pain.
Freedom of speech also means freedom of intellectual speech. But there is no freedom of intellectual speech anymore. If the speech is opposing the "public" view, it is deleted.
It is like a World Series, in which the two teams do not get to compete, the popular is declared, by the popular, the victor. And that is that. That is how smart we have become.
However, I know where you are coming from North. Between you and me, I am just like you, but I have penetrated the inner circles, for example I was the founding webmaster of the ISSS.org website. General Systems Stuff. It finally got to be too much, I didn't know enough about the new technology, we didn't have a forum like this beautiful one. So Mr IBM took it over and here I am. I also am the chairman of the Primer Special Integration Group. But, this plasma stuff is so much more interesting at the moment. So I am familiar with messing around with the big boys.
Anyway, in all those years at ISSS, I learned of their state of the art integrative system. It's that problematique thing I just posted.
When the Universe is looked at in terms of the relationships that emerge among the various elements, certain principles enter into the models we build. These principles exist even before we fill in the blanks of the model, hence general system principles. You can find out for yourself what they are, just clap your hands and pay attention.
Looking at the Universe as a system, as orderness, reveals a profound complexity, and it is that complexity we are trying to comprehend. For when we comprehend the complexity, we can see the simplicity. They work together. Bertalanffy defines a system as "elements in standing relationships" can't ask for a shorter summary than that. Standing relationships can take a while to cover. But the essential point to be grasped is that the elements, in a relationship, create new emergent wholes. The essential trick is to realize that properties of the whole are not to be found in the constituent elements. The meaning of this letter will not be found by analyzing the black ink it is composed of.
And so it is with the Universe. Just like the gases of hydrogen and oxygen can form a relationship and wet water emerges, whatever elements we know of are actually elements of an emergent whole.
So what does all this mean? It means that science in the future will have to know about a whole lot of stuff instead of specializing in just one aspect. Ironic, but the ultimate science is the science that works together. The joke is on them....
A problematique is a tool devised to sweep in all the relevant data, by a group of eight or so competant investigators, define, distill and simplify the data, determine the relationships, and oranize accordingly, until a, well, it looks like a poster made of graphical/prose arrangements to me. A poster is actually what it is, designed so that the next evaluation teams can look at it and "come up to speed" rather than try to figure it all out again. Only this poster, presented at a special dinner/show, is the product of eight professional quality summarizers that spent a whole lot of work creating it.
It is not easy to determine the data, arrange it and present it simply. It is much easier to invent the data, hide the arrangement, and make it so complicated only a couple will understand it.
Anyway, North, I summarized Warfield's book for you. All we have to do now is find and convince eight competant cosmologists to work together and compile an organized presentation of what we have observed, and how we interpret it.
And let the fields fall where they may...
