Hi Stoat, I will have to visit that pub some day! I am now seeing more unifications...its almost as if GR and string theory are all heading towards the the same place. The problem has always been not seeing large scale rotations and circulations taking place, so you invent dark matter to move things around. The static effect of a HIGGS FIELD, which I believe is the gravitostatic field that is the reaction field from gravitons returning through mass towards a reversal, and the boson exchange within nucleons is really all saying the same dimple in the fabric of "time and space". Yet the descriptions have zero motion implied [with only space expanding between mass in GR-leaving no explanation for such incredible high speed rotations-big bang logic forward time matter winning out over antimatter-only one direction in time], and relativity is entangled yet the non-circulatory graviton is illiminated from discussion. The other great problem is TIME parity, for Universe to exist it had to divide in half with two directions in time. We fail to see time parity between matter and antimatter, and only look at forward time. So, logically we fail to understand how the two time directions are linked with graviton and antigraviton circulations.

What totally blows my mind is how gravitons originate in reverse time---almost as if the tail wags the head in this greater motion.

Where do I sign up to get my quantum carpet??? John

Hi John, I think Id order one of these carpets, just to chat with the magic carpet fitter. He stops for a smoke break, and casually mentions that a photon will take 28 billion years to make its way across the room. If you want to know how far a photon has travelled, you have to measure how far its sunk into the pile.

Then he tells you that the individual polar bear hairs are not really individual, they are not glued onto some sort of backing, the whole carpet is one continuous surface but with extreme curvature at each end. As a brane we have what looks like two surfaces very close, and parallel to each other but its really just the one surface. A photon could quantum tunnel anywhere but the top and bottom of the hair is most likely. A photon of very low energy, near the base of the carpet, could jump straight up, inflate and become a graviton. If it tunnelled at about the middle of the hair, it could literally bounce out anywhere. That would depend on whether the hair has been bent or twisted by gravitons moving about on the carpets surface.

This carpet does address Wheelers question about the idea of a pre geometry. Though if we take his argument of the whole universe being informationally at the Compton wavelength, then we would have to take that speed of light scale movement of about on tenth the radius of a proton and multiply our scale universe/carpet by about ten thousand.

I think the basic scheme works, that it has elements of string theory, curvature and the like is a plus. I think that Chinese American guy that you posted a link to, the one with a diagram of a bec universe would like the magic carpet fitters break time chats, if not the price of the carpet.

The pub I drink in, in Newcastle, used to be a gentlemans club. Frequented by loads of engineers, George and Robert Stevenson, Parsons, Armstrong, Brunel went there on his visits to the city, and his son was an apprentice at Armstrongs factory. At the risk of sounding chauvinist, even the girls talk engineering in Newcastle. Though they were a bit bored with the great, differentials on steam engines debate.[:D][8D]

Hi Stoat, This summer I will be traveling for a month to the mainland. Will be up in Port Townsend visiting family and hope to visit Tom and get an autographed copy of his books. By the way nice pic of a classic old world pub.

FTL GRAVITONS, GR SPACE TIME GEOMETRIES, AND GRAVITOSTATIC FIELDS:

It is obvious as cited by TVF in Speed of Gravity papers on this site, that gravity is an instantaneous force. The prevailing viewpoint that space geometries of mass creating a dimple in space time does not adequately explain the relationships between large scale balanced rotations. From instantaneous coupling of binary systems to high speed galactic rotations, the life blood of the Universe is the graviton and not mass itself creating a warping of space time. Mass only exists because of the constant cycling of Gravitons through the Universe. Infact, nothing could exist without this flow of gravitons creating the conditions for mass to exist in motion.

Baryogenesis thinking is flawed. There was never a Big Bang, Matter did not win out over Antimatter, and we will never be able to see a gamma ray boundary zone between our Matter large scale rotations and our sister Antimatter large scale rotations because of this greater Graviton Cycle flux keeping the two rotations apart. Even our concepts of Space Time are flawed, we fail to see that we are only one of many small systems of paired rotations in an infinite Universe.

GRAVITONS & GRAVITOSTATIC FIELDS: I now think that the graviton is the smallest particle in our visible Universe. Infact it is so compact and operates at such extreme speeds that it literally passes right through all matter. It is the field effects, a BEC GRAVITOSTATIC FIELD, that provides geometries to space time. Inside this field you do not feel the greater motion, only high G Forces are felt when you push against the incoming localized motion of the gravitostatic field. It is the localized field that equalizes the force of gravity, creates the magnetic lines of force, even though the gravitons may be passing through systems of planets, stars, and heading directly towards the highest point of gravitational balance at the center of the galaxy. The field creates line of force pointing towards the gravity well, and the necessary stabilization for mass to exist. Only a small percentage of Gravitons that head down these lines of force into all mass are flipped becoming Antigravitons. This process of flipping becomes concentrated as Jets of antimatter when the Gravitostatic Field reaches a very high percentage Graviton Capture Point.

(I will finish this discussion later-John)

As a courtesy, I'm throwing some of my thoughts and observations into the mix to see what happens and to see if anyone has had similar thoughts.

Hurricanes.

Here in the U.S., we have annual hurricanes that devastate parts of our east and southern coasts. Hurricanes behave like objects, yet are composed of the very things that they move through. When they curve towards the north, it looks like some massive force is acting on them when in reality it's a matter of the Coriolis Effect.

In addition, hurricanes always have a counterclockwise rotation as seen from above, yet warm, high pressure weather systems have a clockwise rotation. If someone doesn't believe me, they turn on the Weather Channel for a while and observe the maps.

So, here we have air masses behaving as objects and opposite polarities of rotation corresponding to hot and cold. I see the possibility, though I don't have empirical evidence to support it, that maybe, just maybe, atomic scale particles are behaving in the same manner, i.e. atoms are vorticies in a hyperfinely particulate void-fluid. Hence, gravitation may be a behavior of void-fluid vorticies in a void-fluid and not caused by an assumed force at a distance.

This idea may be niave and may have been postulated elsewhere, but I think it is a good food for thought and is in need of discussion.

/lurk,

James

Hi James, I agree---the vortex is found everywhere in nature, opposing rotations attract while same rotation direction pushes away. I have often thought about hurricanes in comparing them with galaxies. The graviton wind is moving towards the center of the circulation and is gradually captured by increasingly stronger gravity fields until the antimatter reactions become centralized in jets---magnetic fields I believe are the lines of force from the gravitostatic field captured circulations of gravitons. Because of supernovas and expanding gases there is a reverse wind pushing at sub light speeds approximately 1 million miles per hour mass outwards [counter balancing incoming gravitons]---similar to our solar wind only it is the galactic wind. The energy source is the graviton cycling through mass just like the atmospheric wind from ocean heating in your above description of hurricanes. So, except near the event horizons of the black holes which rotate at 4.4 million miles per hour at center of our galaxy, mass does move in sub vortical rotations away from the creational central bands where flaring, magnetic fields, and graviton capture is at its highest levels. Mass is constantly being created by this process. John

Hi, John.

While your comments are interesting, I haven't yet reached the point where I can accept the existence of gravitons, let alone a graviton wind. More to the point, I've grown to where I spend minimal time on theory and more on the practical and engineering aspects of experimentation.

I'll now give a practical demonstration and a proposition that is in line with my previous guess about objects being vorticies of collections of vorticies, a condition I believe needs its own word, which I'll now call "Vortexial". "Vortical" is my second choice but the former sounds more descriptive to me.

In weather systems in the northern hemisphere, counterclockwise rotations of air masses are characterised by cooler temperatures than clockwise rotations, as seen from above. In addition, warmer air masses are described as "domes" of higher air masses. Suppose we apply this observation to atoms and molecules of air. Then, we would expect warm air to rise and cooler air to sink of its own accord. Common wisdom portrays this behavior as a result of buoyancy, but what if it isn't?

Let's examine the demonstration of a hot air balloon. Hot air balloons are typically open at the bottom and are held aloft by the hot air inside. We can deduce that the pressure of the air inside has to be upwardly greater than the air outside from the condition that the mass of the denser balloon material, gondola, hot air source and the passengers are being held aloft against gravity.

Now, Because the balloon doesn't deflate since it is open at the bottom, we should further deduce that some quality of the hot air is acting oppositely to gravity. If we transpose the observations of weather phenomena to the particles of hot air, we can suppose that the air particles have similar rotations to each other and furthermore, that the linear kinetic energy of these particles cannot account for the balloon's lift.

I'm looking at this from a practical standpoint for the purpose of identifying a possible mechanism of "anti-gravity". I do not consider my description to be complete, but to be minimally descriptive of the thoughts that I've had on the subject. For example, I haven't given a possible axis and direction of rotation for hot air particles.

James
