My answer to this question is evolving and I am leaning now more towards a resonating paradigm that is a forward and reverse time wave (extreme frequencies that are FTL) that literally is the cause of all atomic structure and has a direct relationship to the exchange of energies causing either gravity or antigravitational effects.

While I agree with Tom on the speed of the Graviton, I may have a different answer regarding the source of gravity. Since I think there are two universes, one made of forward time matter and a reverse time antimatter universe that interact creating huge flux fields that are the prime mover and creational force behind all atomic actions. My answer comes from the quantum world and is supported by new information regarding the HERA collider experiments (see previous posts) that show a balance between quarks and antiquarks coming from high energy impacts of protons. This is a complex issue and there are many field interactions which result in creating exchange of momentum by gravitational forces that either maintain a balance between mass with zero gravity effects, or acceleration of mass attractions or repulsive forces.
One thing is for certain, new discoveries are challenging our basic tenents of physics, and here is an example of how a Low energy resonating chamber creates high energy plasmas (beyond the hydrogen ground state):
THE BLACKLIGHT PROCESS
"A plasma called an rt-plasma formed with a low field (1V/cm), at low temperatures, from atomic hydrogen generated at a tungsten filament and strontium which was vaporized by heating the metal. Typically requiring very high fields or power, plasma formation under these conditions is extraordinary and there is agreement among experts in the field that this cannot be explained by conventional plasma physics.
A new chemically generated or assisted plasma and light source based on a resonant energy transfer mechanism (rt-plasma) (BlackLight Process) has been developed that is a new primary power source. One such source operates by incandescently heating a hydrogen dissociator (chemically splits hydrogen molecules into atoms) and a catalyst to provide atomic hydrogen and gaseous catalyst, respectively, such that the catalyst reacts with the atomic hydrogen to produce a plasma. It was extraordinary that intense high energy light is observed by at low temperatures [1-6] and an extraordinary low field strengths of about 1-2 V/cm from atomic hydrogen and certain atomized elements or certain gaseous ions which singly or multiply ionize at integer multiples of the potential energy of atomic hydrogen and serve as catalysts. A number of independent experimental observations confirm that the rt-plasma is due to a novel reaction of atomic hydrogen which produces as chemical intermediates, hydrogen in fractional quantum states that are at lower energies than the traditional "ground" (n=1) state. Power is released and the final reaction products are novel hydride compounds [1, 9-11] or lower-energy molecular hydrogen [12]. The supporting data include EUV spectroscopy [1-6, 8, 13-17, 20-21, 23-24], characteristic emission from catalysts and the hydride ion products [1, 3, 5, 16-17, 23-24], lower-energy hydrogen emission [8, 13-15], chemically formed plasmas [1-6, 16-17, 23-24], extraordinary (>100 eV) Balmer line broadening [1-3, 5, 8, 13-14, 16, 18-24], population inversion of H lines [1, 16, 21, 23-25], elevated electron temperature [14, 18-20], anomalous plasma afterglow duration [1, 6], power generation [1, 7-8], and analysis of novel chemical compounds [1, 9-11] (references at site)."

0PEN SOURCE ENERGY NETWORK:
OSEN funded by the Disclosure Project has documented the theoretical revolution that began with Tesla in an extensive video library of technologies that tap the unlimited potential resonant energy dynamics that powers the universe.
Here is the news release:
"OSEN makes cannon-ball splash opening with release of disclosure testimonial videos
Earth-shattering never-before-seen video testimonials released for the first time, featuring seven energy inventors. Affidavit witnesses urge an end to suppression of new energy technologies that could eliminate our suicidal dependence on fossil fuel.
VANCOUVER, B.C., CANADA (Oct. 22, 2005) -- In launching its website today, after several months of incubation, the Open Source Energy Network (OSEN.org) is making its debut splash by releasing never-before-seen video testimonials from seven leading alternative energy inventors.
These professional videos were prepared by the Disclosure Project, headed by Dr. Steven Greer, and were underwritten with sizeable funds for high-quality production. They were prepared to serve as testimony that will stand up in court. They document the fact, both that there are viable new energy technologies which could rid us of our dependence on polluting fossil fuels, and that there have been active efforts in suppressing these. Explosively, these videos reveal names and tactics of this Luddite resistance against scientific progress.
This power-packed series includes testimony from Tom Bearden; Thomas Vallone, Paul Czysz, Hal Puthoff, David Hamilton, Ted Loder, Paul LaViolette, several of whom hold PhDs, and all of whom are held in high esteem by their peers in the field of clean energy. Each video is between 45 minutes and an hour in length. (Some of the videos, such as Tom Bearden's, can be viewed at a higher speed to shorten online time, while remaining easy to understand.)
These videos are sure to become hot items among those who track developments in this field. Many have been frustrated by the lack of progress for so many years, knowing that we could have had some of these technologies over a century ago were it not for the oil and business cartel that actively snuffed it out. Their blockade against both scientific progress and information began with their snubbing of Nikola Tesla, one of the most brilliant inventors of all time. For many decades, he was barely mentioned -- if at all -- in our schools and history books. You would think that the man who brought us A.C. power, radio, and other wireless communication, would deserve prominent attention.
But because he wanted to make energy available for free – wirelessly broadcast worldwide without metering or billing, accessed by a simple receiver device which did not need to be plugged into any socket or wired grid – he was de-funded, and publicly scorned. A device he developed to power a car using energy from the vacuum was likewise quashed, and nearly forgotten.
As we approach Tesla's 150th birthday next year (July 10, 2006), the great inventor and theorist is finally beginning to emerge from this imposed limbo, with the Legend status that he always deserved.
The work of Tesla is a common theme in these affidavit video interviews. Their combined witness provides a powerful impetus for us to put pressure on our elected officials and demand that they to support the development and penetration into the marketplace of clean energy devices and infrastructure – with the same vigor with which they approached the Manhattan project or the Apollo Project.
As a sampling from the seven videos, Lt. Col. Tom Bearden says that the scientific community must stop snubbing these technologies, and that their doing so has very little to do with science, and very much to do with the politics of science.
Bearden warns that if we do not do something of this magnitude, but only continue to give marginal attention to this matter through token legislation and half-hearted scientific dabbling, then the handwriting on the wall spells our doom. The momentum of “peak oil” continues to drive fuel prices upward, fomenting international unrest which risks creating the kind of Armageddon scenario warned of in the Bible and promoted in pop culture: weapons of mass destruction begin to be unleashed by nations panicking when the traditional energy supplies are choked off. None of this need happen, if the alternatives are developed with all speed, says Bearden.
Intended to be legally respected in Supreme Courts around the world, these video testimonies are were also designed to be presented to the court of public opinion with the hope that once the general mass of people are awakened to the facts, the grassroots pressure and consumer demand for new energy technology will be unstoppable. Such a groundswell will influence the scientific community to cease politically-driven snubbing, not least because some among them are in favor of this overdue paradigm shift but in the past – due to peer pressure and the threat of blacklisting – they have not been free to speak out. Then the politicians will have to give clean energy the priority status it demands. They will have to put an end to subsidies on oil and old technologies, lest our civilization succumb to implosion.
The private sector can do a huge amount to reverse the present disastrous course. Because these technologies are superior in every way – more efficient and more cost-effective ¬– they will create a stronger bottom line for companies promoting them.
In launching their new website today, the Open Source Energy Network hopes to also launch another revolution -- the open sourcing of energy technologies. Rather than penury, secrecy and cutthroat battles over patents, the model of co-operation offers to researchers and inventors the best way to beat the suppression of these long-overdue developments and gain sufficient support to achieve optimum results. With the combined efforts of many trained and creative minds, the extracting of clean, free, renewable, and inexhaustible energy – whether it be from the sun, wind, tide, geothermal, from the vacuum of space, or from properties of magnetism and inter-planetary and inter-stellar electricity not yet fully understood – will be realized in our generation.
Thus this seven-pack video set of disclosure videos is an apropos way to introduce OSEN to the world.

I recall a community college science class I had back in the 60s. There were very delicate, expensive scales (with glass doors on them to prevent air movement from disrupting the measuring) that we were supposed to develop facility in the use of. It had the regular known weights to put in the opposite pan and a very light short chain that could be adjusted to add very tiny mass increments.
It was somewhat amusing when I realized that in the presence of air, one could not ... in principle ... measure the mass anything to the degree of accuracy intended by that device because of the variable bouyancy of materials in any medium (gas or liquid). In air, I wouldn't trust any measurement of mass less than a gram.
Thus, a kilogram of feathers which would balance a kilogram of iron nails in a vacuum would not be able to balance the nails in air by a long shot. Hence, measuring a mass change from spring compression it completely impossible on that score alone.
Also, as I remember from an old Isaac Asimov article, the energy generated by the fission of one atom of uranium was roughly equivalent to picking up a 50 pound suitcase. If the spring was compressed by a force even able to pick up an automobile, you'd only be measuring the mass change from less than a single proton totally converted to energy (or something on that extremely miniscule scale). That's why nobody gets close to the Cern machine when it's colliding sub-atomic particles. There's not much mass ... but a whole lot of energy being expended.
Detecting a mass change in a compressed spring is a technical impossibility. And if the above aliens are real ... I'm sure they don't have a scale that can detect it either ;o)

I am half way through watching and listening to the awesome information packed video discussions that include descriptions of energy projects, antigravity technology, and disclosure of advanced physics research that became classified information and black projects. I applaud the Disclosure Project for bringing about this focus for change. I also applaud the most important speaker of all, David Hamilton, from the Department of Energy for having the guts to stand up against the existing bureacracy and establishment that has stopped progress in limiting who gets patents, i.e., Black Light Power still waiting on patent (Patent was pulled because existing scientists complained) because their technology defies existing physics and will create energy independence from the oil economy.
If you care about our planet and progress of science, please watch these testimonies at:
www.opensourceenergy.com/_layouts/apps/dp/index.asp
I have climbed to the top of 13,000 foot Mauna Loa and at the NOAH weather station on the way up to the top there is a plaque that shows the levels of CO2 in our atmosphere climbing straight up and still no asymptote or bell curve. The C02 levels in the atmosphere of this planet could reach the point of no return, and could result in catastrophic weather changing events on earth.
For those that are coming forward and discussing government classified projects, the NSA must now realize that it is time for full disclosure because we are running out of time and to hold on to advanced physics for reasons of national security will only continue to limit our ability to solve the world energy crisis and then there will be no security at all because holding advanced technology then becomes a crime against humanity. If we fail to get off oil, the results will be further wars for domination of the remaining oil supply.
