If the Universe (meaning all that exists everywhere) had a creation from nothing, then how do you know the process isn't still occuring. If the primordial Universe was created from nothing, why not the Sun, Ursa Major, CMB, my dog, since then. If creation ex nihilo is possible, why only once? How does one make any appeal to logic and reason to explain any observed phenomena when one assumes the possibility that there is no cause. This is why I reject the possibility of creation. Its not that I understand eternal existence, its that I understand the ramifications of creation.

ANS: Other than not agreeing with your view, I have no problem with your post. I am just the opposite. I can find no rational to support eternal existance with no initial creation and I do understand the consequences of eternal existance.

That is just the opposite of your view. The point is that makes neither of us right and the other wrong. We can ony simply digest the evidence and decide for ourselves which we tend to believe.

ANS: I don't accept that at all and can't even imagine where such a thought is derived. Scientific inquiry is key to our survival, not just our understanding.

Suppose you were to meet someone who claimed that while it was true that 1 + 1 = 2, sometimes 1 + 1 = 3. You would probably reply that this claim was patently false and readily produce a mathematical proof to invalidate it. But he then claims that not only was your proof unsatisfactory but that 1 + 1 = 4, and 5, and 6. In fact he could see no reason why 1 + 1 couldn't equate with any integer. As justification, this person would claim that our minds are insufficiently developed to understand how this is so, but that nonetheless it was possible. It is now readily apparent to you that no amount of persuasion will disuade this person of their belief. His math is incompatible with logic. You agree to disagree, but before leaving he asks if you have change for a $20 bill. You give him two $1 bills and tell him to prove that he's been shortchanged.
