[tvf] " .. just try looking at any detailed image on a variety of monitors, and you will see amazing differences in what each shows."

I can vouch for this. My system has three identical monitors (Samsung 997MB, 1600 X 1200 X 24 bit) side-by-side and adjusted to be as close as possible to each other. Any given image will (in general) look different as I drag it from one monitor to the next. The differences are usually small, but not always.

[emanuel] "Larry, you make me laugh out loud!"

You are welcome. (I'm not really a comedian, but I play one on the 'Net. Perhaps I've missed my true calling ...)

Being somewhat new to the forum there seems to be some inside information that is being relied upon for the posts made by Trinket and the responses by Gregg and Larry Burford, could somebody fill me in please? OR does my tongue need to be in my cheek?

I think LB and Gregg are politely saying that this particular image of Trinket's does not pass muster (intuitively) for artificiality--unless you can imagine Teddy K drunk and making a speech. But then some people say that about my postings also. Some people don't recognize pareidolia at all, and others think that every face is pareidolia. There you have our delemma in a nutshell.
