The only significance to 8/22 that jumps out at me is the duality of 22? Anyway it is good to see the glyphs persist in every single image of the area. How can this NOT be the most important and impressive area on Mars?

Here is a colorized rendering of the parrot formation using the recently released MOC S13-01480 image.

Note, all of the parrot's features are still thereincluding the tail feathers.

Just prior to the July 4th weekend the founding members of The Cydonia Institute were notified that their science paper -which reveals Wil's parrot geoglyphic on the surface of Mars - was accepted for publication by a peer-reviewed science journal.

The paper will be published in the Fall issue of the Journal of Scientific Exploration...

Updates to follow.

Larry, would you please fix the first message in this topic? It seems to have gotten corrupted. Also, the image at the bottom of page 1 is so huge it makes viewing on a tablet almost impossible. This is an excellent topic and worthy of saving.

I've deleted the garbage in the first message.

Nothing I can do for the large image. The link will have to point to a smaller one. The image could be cropped and saved and the several smaller images shown in a series of links.
