I would say the center of the galaxy is a boundary condition: matter converts into energy (which probably adds to the halo around the galaxy) If we could compare the halo of galaxies in our region of space with those closer to mega clusters, I would say that the temperatures are not the same: cooler around our galaxy (but slowly changing as more matter merges with our galaxy).

As the mass of a body increases, its available energy decreases.
The more galaxies merge, the less there is available energy.
(This probably affects the dynamics of bodies in a galaxy)

So to answer your question: The boundary condition is: one side: matter, the other side: energy.

SPACE is on the otherside of any boundary condition. A true singularity containing all of Universe cannot logically exist!

Physics will continue being in a mess as long as we have an entropic model of the atom, believe that space and time are warped around mass, believe in big bang theories, believe that nothing can travel faster then light, believe that matter won out over antimatter, believe that all energy is contained within an atom, believe in entropy as a model of energy paradigm, believe in a strange repulsive dark matter that now suddenly astrophysicists are making claims to have found dark matter structures all over the place. In this STANDARD MODEL there is zero motion caused from the cycling of energy except force carriers which magically transfer energy...or light which is not enough energy to account for extreme rotations, hmmmm, the missing mass must be....that's it dark matter, do you not cycle energy to operate an electric motor????---well, think of the Universe as an engine it also requires fuel just like the electric motor and that fuel is FTL GRAVITONS!!!!

Physics is a mess right now because our theories are wrong. John

I had already answered that question a few posts ago: If light travels at a finite speed, then our universe is NOT INFINITE.
the boundary condition is where light has not reached yet.
