The time frames of .1my and 50my are quite different don't you think? The last 10 ice ages are in the past 1my.

I do not think this time frame matters. The release of methane probably happens at each warming period as it is today (not to the extent of the 50 MYA event) . The atom's potential changes along with the entropy of the solar system.
This is why the physical (or chemical) properties of atoms under 3 miles of water are altered.
This is also why there are blackouts during solar storms.

I will have to get back to you on items 1 & 2
3) life evolved on Earth because the carbon cycle "jump started" 600 million years ago after the deep freeze the Earth was in some time prior to this. This evolution was possible because the entropy of the solar system allowed this to happen.
4) Time for all atoms in this universe has only one direction. The evolution of stars is an example. aging and gravity are other examples.

Hi GD, In support of your argument regarding the thermodynamics of earth cooling over the last five billion years to enable life to exist is correct. We are still very limited in our understandings on how the Universe works. It is impossible for Antimatter to exist if we only live in a Uni-Time directed Universe. Either mirrors exist or they do not. So I disagree with you on several points, the Universe is both positive and negative and is balanced between a Matter and Antimatter Universe. The Universe is in perpetual motion and as far as our current understandings take us it appears that if anything more energy is now entering our solar system not less, which means that currently the curve is towards negative entropy. Time is just another variable and the entire question of relativity as far as I'm concerned is way up in the air. So, I would entirely disagree that all atoms in this dual Matter and Antimatter Universe have only one direction in Time, that is a mathematical improbability. Also, again dimensional stresses may exist as both mirror matter antimatter waveforms with in atomic nuclei. Otherwise, how do such incredible atomic blasts create such enormous releases of energy. So, you see it is all very mute question pertaining to entropy levels when we are so really unable to calculate exactly just what those levels would be anyway. Because, even our core heating is the result of extradimensional gravitational energies bombarding the earth's center. No gravity, no heat, no mass, nothing exists but plasma. What is good is that we are challenging ourselves to think about these questions. North, yes I agree with you that Plasmas are amazing and I would sure like to spend more time doing further research on Plasma states which exist everywhere.

I think this release is extradimensional and FTL otherwise how do you attain such amazing negative entropy? Where does this energy come from, and this is the big question could the Sun be a White Hole?

I know what I am trying to convey is not mainstream thinking.
This entropy business is confusing for many, not knowing which way the universe will end up.
I insist that its entropy will increase with time.
I believe the atom which is energy in an organized form exists between two limits: its excited state and its depleted state.
These two extremes are highly disorganized plasmas.
These two extreme limits are high entropy limits.
In other words, the universe has been some time in the past (20 billion YA) in a highly excited state (high entropy), probably millions of degrees kelvin. As the universe evolved and expanded it also cooled (low entropy). We are probably in this era now. It is now moving towards the other limit which is the depleted state (high entropy).
The irrefutable proof of this is the clustering of galaxies in our local group of galaxies (these galaxies are slightly shifted towards the blue spectrum). Gravity is the reason for this.
